Getting Started with PCARDIO
From unboxing to first cardiac data in minutes. Welcome to PCARDIO. This guide will help you set up your system, connect your recorder, sensors and start capturing high-quality cardiac monitoring data quickly and reliably. Whether you are running your first pilot, evaluating the platform, or preparing an integration project — this is your starting point. PCARDIO is designed to get you from box to data in minutes, without complex setup, calibration-heavy workflows or fragile lab infrastructure.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following available:
- PCARDIO wearable recorders (charged)
- The PCARDIO Wireless BLE Dongle (recommended) or a compatible device with wireless BLE support (Windows, macOS, Android or iOS).
- PCARDIO software installed (Windows, MAC application or mobile demo app) or custom application
- PCARDIO Product Manual
- Standard electrodes, electrode patches or electrode straps
Quick Start – Your First Measurement in 6 Steps
1. Charge the PCARDIO Recorder
Place the PCARDIO sensors in the docking station or connect them via USB. A full charge typically takes less than one hour. The LEDs will indicate charging and readiness.
2. Install the Software (Microsoft/Apple Store)
Download and install the PCARDIO software:
- PCARDIO Windows Application
- PCARDIO Mac Application
3. Setup recording
Configure recording via Docking Station (recorder holder, sensors, schedule, Client ID)
4. Prepare skin & attach the system
Place each electrode at the appropriate body position according to the measurement protocol. This step is essential for correct signal quality and meaningful cardiac data interpretation.
5. Verify ECG and other signals
Verify ECG via Live View (wireless). Always check before long recordings.
6. Start/stop recording & save
Start/stop recording & save as CSV, EDF, or BDF
