General
What accessories does PCARDIO offer?
PCARDIO offers complete solutions including charging stations, wireless BLE dongles and body attachment options. We offer multiple strap and patch options to suit different applications and wearing positions. For specific projects we can also provide customised solutions with unique specifications.
What software applications are available?
We provide a Windows and MAC application for system setup, live view and data recording and downloading. We also offer iOS and Android mobile applications for quick status assessment and demonstrations.
What is the function of the docking station?
The PCARDIO Docking Station provides a convenient charging solution for the PCARDIO recorders and allows for high-speeds download of raw measurement data.
Wireless Performance
How can I achieve the best wireless performance and minimize packet loss?
To achieve optimal BLE performance and minimize packet loss:
– Place the dongle above or away from the laptop, not directly behind or next to the screen
– Keep the dongle free from obstructions within approximately 50 cm
– Ensure a clear line-of-sight (LOS) between the dongle and the sensors whenever possible
– Avoid placing recorders where the human body blocks the direct path to the dongle
Be aware that the human body can attenuate the BLE signal significantly.
PCARDIO Sensors
What sample rates do you support?
PCARDIO recorders can be configured to sample at various rates depending on the application. ECG can for example be recorded at 250, 500 and 1000Hz.
How long can I continuously measure with a PCARDIO recorder?
he internal rechargeable battery provides extended operation suitable for long-term monitoring sessions. Refer to the product manual for specific battery life details based on your configuration.
Is the PCARDIO recorder waterproof?
Yes the recorder, recorder to recorder holder interface and recorder holder are all IP67 waterproof.
Is PCARDIO certified?
The PCARDIO sensors have been tested and found to be in compliance with applicable standards for electrical safety, EMC and radio testing. Please refer to the EU Declaration of Conformity document available on the Downloads page.
The recorder does not respond when I press the button
Try charging the device. If the charging animation appears, the battery was completely drained. If charging doesn’t resolve the issue, press and hold the button for 10 seconds to reset the device.
I am unable to connect to my PCARDIO device
Ensure that the PCARDIO device is not already connected to another central device. If it is not connected elsewhere, try resetting the sensor by pressing and holding the button for 10 seconds.
