Connectivity and Data Download Solutions

Efficient Data Transfer Solutions for High-Resolution Cardiac Monitoring

At P-CARDIO, we provide multiple solutions to efficiently transfer high-resolution data download from our recorders, ensuring seamless integration into research and clinical workflows. By default, we support a high-speed docking station connected to a computer or USB-enabled device, enabling rapid data retrieval. For more advanced connectivity, we offer WiFi-enabled docking stations or LTE-M connected solutions for applications that directly or in real-time communicate to the Cloud.

Additionally, the recorder itself features wireless BLE capabilities that can be leveraged for applications where lower data rates are sufficient. These flexible options allow researchers and professionals to tailor data transfer methods to their specific needs, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and accessibility in cardiac monitoring and analysis.

Docking Station

Direct download recordings to a computer

The docking station for the P-CARDIO ECG recorder facilitates high-speed recording downloads at a rate of 20 megabytes per second, ensuring rapid data transfer and immediate verification of measurements. This efficient process enables quick access to raw ECG data for analysis, significantly reducing wait times. Measurement setup and data download via the Docking Station are managed through the P-CARDIO Software Application.

Additionally, the docking station charges the P-CARDIO ECG recorder, ensuring it is always ready for subsequent recordings, thus enhancing workflow efficiency and reliability in cardiac research and patient monitoring.

Ethernet / WiFi Docking Station

Prototype

This advanced docking solution connects directly to a network via Ethernet or WiFi, enabling automatic high-resolution data uploads without requiring a dedicated computer. It provides seamless, remote data transfer to local servers or cloud platforms, making it ideal for distributed research environments and large-scale deployments where efficiency and automation are key.

Wireless BLE Connectivity for Flexible Data Access

Direct wireless communication to Mobile Device or Computer

The Wireless BLE Recorder enables direct transfer of both summarized and raw measurement data (pending) to tablets, mobile devices, or computers—eliminating the need for physical connections. Utilizing its built-in BLE interface, this streamlined approach ensures efficient and flexible data access.

For short-duration applications, the recorder can stream high-resolution sensor data in real-time, making it ideal for spot measurements or system functionality checks. Additionally, for applications that require reduced sample rates, the recorder can communicate directly with mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

To support seamless integration, the P-CARDIO recorder API provides direct access to the data, allowing researchers and developers to incorporate it into their own software solutions for enhanced analysis and application. These wireless connectivity options ensure maximum flexibility in data retrieval and monitoring.

BLE/LTE-M Hub

BLE/LTE-M Gateway Hub

The P-CARDIO BLE/LTE-M Gateway Hub enables direct, secure transmission of recorded data and key insights from the P-CARDIO recorder to a cloud-connected server. By leveraging BLE communication with the recorder and LTE-M for cloud integration, this standalone solution ensures efficient data transfer within a unified ecosystem—eliminating the need for intermediary devices. The LTE-M technology provides a fast, reliable connection, allowing real-time access to critical data for enhanced monitoring and analysis. This solution is ideal for applications requiring automated, remote data uploads with minimal infrastructure dependencies.
